Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Clifford Chance US LLP is seeking a full time Legal Secretary to help provide high-level administrative support to our attorneys in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice area. This role requires strong attention to detail, great organizational and analytical skills, and a strong client service attitude. Successful candidates will be personable, responsive, and proactive. This position will be located in our Washington, DC office and report to the Operations Manager - DC.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of related legal or executive secretarial experience in a law firm or professional services firm.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree or equivalent training preferred.
- Must have a high level of typing accuracy at a minimum of 60 wpm.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Must possess excellent organizational and client service skills.
- Must have a proactive and positive approach.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing environment.
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize competing demands to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work overtime as assigned including working outside the core business hours as needed.
- Must be independently legally authorized to work in the United States.
