CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years prior experience supporting a team of solicitors in a busy environment in a legal secretary role or similar;
  • Experience using iManage, Keyhouse or another document/case management system;
  • Experience using a billing platform (Elite 3E or other);
  • Diary management and planning;
  • Comfortable working in a busy and fast-paced environment;
  • Strong technical skills; and
  • Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • File and caseload management – accessing documents and making sure files remain updated;
  • Document production – drafting affidavits, memos, attendances, correspondence and other documents as required;
  • Client billing – making sure invoices are issued on time and accurately;
  • Diary management - making sure schedules are organized correctly and efficiently;
  • Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, including arranging specialist appointments, consultations and meetings;
  • Creating briefs for experts and counsel;
  • Managing internal and external MI;
  • Providing legal administrative support to the team;
  • Other duties as assigned.
