CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ years prior experience supporting a team of solicitors in a busy environment in a legal secretary role or similar;
- Experience using iManage, Keyhouse or another document/case management system;
- Experience using a billing platform (Elite 3E or other);
- Diary management and planning;
- Comfortable working in a busy and fast-paced environment;
- Strong technical skills; and
- Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
- File and caseload management – accessing documents and making sure files remain updated;
- Document production – drafting affidavits, memos, attendances, correspondence and other documents as required;
- Client billing – making sure invoices are issued on time and accurately;
- Diary management - making sure schedules are organized correctly and efficiently;
- Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, including arranging specialist appointments, consultations and meetings;
- Creating briefs for experts and counsel;
- Managing internal and external MI;
- Providing legal administrative support to the team;
- Other duties as assigned.
