We are seeking expressions of interest from Legal Secretaries, who have had experience working in a busy environment or a law firm. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career, especially for those with a Law degree or previous legal assistance experience looking to advance their career in the legal industry.
As a legal secretary, you will need to provide the highest level of support to fee-earners and assist them with their daily legal tasks. This requires you to be focused, organised and have excellent interpersonal skills. These skills include communication, time management, confidence in relationship building and the ability to manage a busy workload. You will also need to be able to provide key administrative support such as handling emails and phone calls, managing appointments and meetings, preparing documents, maintaining confidential files and managing client files and documents which requires great proficiency in software and IT.
We are looking to connect with people who meet the following requirements;
- Existing experience as a Legal Secretary or similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in supporting a fee earner
- Demonstrable experience of rapport building and client interactions
- Highly proficient in IT and Office 365
- Strong keyboard skills and able to type quickly
- Confident in managing a heavy workload
- Thrive in a busy and challenging work environment
