Leisure Centre Attendant

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility in working hours as role includes mornings/evenings & weekends.
• Gym Instructor Qualification preferred but not essential
• Must have ability to swim or be a swimming instructor.
• Leisure Centre Receptionist experience desired but not essential.
• Ability to work as part of a team, and a desire to progress in your career.

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE

Reporting to the Club Vitae Manager, the Leisure centre attendant will assist to provide a safe and efficient environment for club members

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as first point of contact for all members, dealing with queries in person, by phone/email
• Ensure the smooth running of the club during opening hours
• To report without delay any dangerous occurrences or accidents into incident log and to Club Vitae Manager
• To supervise and control swimming pool.
• To ensure that the guests needs and requirements are met.
• To ensure the efficient handling and security of all cash and credit transactions.
• To assist in booking, and delivering the Centres timetable of classes
• Assist the Club Manager in the marketing/upselling of the club
• Carry out general cleaning duties
• To have an in-depth knowledge of all legislation as it pertains to Club Vitae, in particular, Health and Safety Regulations, Employment Legislation, Codes of Practise, NOP’s, EAP’s, and the Safety Statement.
• Administer membership enquiries and complete the sale with the customer
