We currently have an opportunity for an energetic Leisure and Lifestyle Assistance to join us on a Permanent Part time basis at our Mornington Home .

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Police check clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Current NDIS check clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Proof of Work rights in Australia
  • Proof of COVID Vaccination certificate (2 doses + booster dose)
  • Proof of Flu vaccination (current year)

Responsibilities:

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Provide and deliver lifestyle co-ordination – including surveys and auditing requirements
  • Improve our consumer lifestyle quality and choices
  • Reporting to the Facility Manager
  • Should be available to work afternoon till evening shifts

ABOUT THE ROLE:

With the evolving needs of our residents we are looking to strengthen and build on our Lifestyle program. This role will need to deliver on a comprehensive lifestyle program with the primary focus being our residents. The role will work closely with the team but in particular our Lifestyle, Catering staff and Customer Service Officer with strong guidance from the Facility Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undertake comprehensive lifestyle review of each resident
  • Ability to write care plans for individual residents on lifestyle
  • Able to lead a team of lifestyle staff to enhance the program for residents.
  • Flexibility of hours to ensure a coverage of lifestyle activities 7 days a week, evenings also.
  • Strong ability to utilise community support programs.
  • End of month reporting data analysis of the lifestyle program
  • Collation of surveys and audits of the activity program
  • Provision of education and support to lifestyle staff
