Description:

The Liaison and Diversion Service are based over the City and County and have teams based in bothMansfieldandNottingham city custody suites, we are a fast paced service and can experience some complex cases to be dealt with within time constraints from our partner agencies (PACE clock, Court times). We provide an all vulnerability service to improve health and social outcomes for children and adults who are in contact with the criminal justice system, ensuring good information sharing across agencies. We are made up of Nurses, Social workers, Support workers, Peer support workers, Speech and Language and Psychology. As it can be a demanding role it is recognised that the importance of regular supervision and clinical development does support this role.
The wellbeing of the team is of high importance and is prioritised with access to regular reflective practice and shared learning through regular caseload and business meetings. The team works 8am till 8pm Monday to Sunday, shifts are 8am till 4pm and 12pm till 8pm on a rota basis. We particularly welcome applications from BAME individuals and IDD nurses who are currently underrepresented in the team
