LoanCraft, in business since 2003 is an exclusive service provider for some of the largest mortgage loan providers in the Midwest. In this capacity, we help our mortgage clients originate, process, and underwrite home equity lines of credit fairly, accurately, and efficiently.

Job Duties for the Mortgage Loan Officer role:

  • Establish and build relationships with WARM leads that we provide you. There is NO cold calling in this role. Our leads are pre-qualified.
  • Follow a structured, phone based consultative sales process to collect necessary information from the consumer.
  • Generate and present proposals to the consumer, that highlight the benefits and features of the Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) product, while providing education and ensuring comprehension of the key HELOC product features.
  • Collect and review financial documentation to ensure accuracy, working in partnership with Loan Processors.

Qualifications for the Mortgage Loan Officer role:

  • Must have passed SAFE Licensing Exam and hold a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) License.
  • Proven success in a sales-based role, conducting a high volume of contacts to consumers over the phone.
  • Ability to analyze and comprehend financial data.
  • Solid time management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple detail-oriented tasks simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to remain coachable while working in a fast-paced technology-driven environment.
  • Willingness to learn “The LoanCraft Way”.
  • Some knowledge/ability to process own loans.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Compensation for the Mortgage Loan Officer role:
This position offers a base hourly rate and an aggressive commission incentive which is based on your individual performance. Typical annual compensation is in the range of $50,000 to $80,000/year
