Licensed Practical Nurse, Outpatient (Level Green)- 1 day WFH

UPMC Community Medicine Incorporated is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to support their team: Partners in Health located at 833 State Route #130 Level Green, PA 15085
This position will work Monday through Friday 7:30-4pm and one day 8:30-5pm and will require minimal travel to the nearby offices.
This position will have 1 day work from home and free parking on site!

PURPOSE:

Provides professional nursing care to office patients under supervision of patient care providers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Draw blood.
• Comply with requirements of appropriate regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, CLIA, PA Department of Health).
• Administer medications including oral, SQ, IM and IV drip.
• Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Assess patient’s general condition and take vital signs and weight.
• Comply with all policies and procedures.
• Perform IV therapy under direction of Registered Nurse.
• Document all activities/interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed, etc., in the medical record.
• Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data.
• Promote wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions.
• Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing.
• One year clinical experience preferred.LICENSURE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND CLEARANCES:CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) OR Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Act 33 with renewal
• Act 34 with renewal
• Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
• Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
