QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 19 years of age & can provide three professional references

• Responsible Adult certification, equivalent child related training or a willingness to obtain

training & Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check with clear Vulnerable Sector Search

• Current Child Care First Aid, CPR and AED certification or willingness to obtain
• Current immunization record and TB testing compliance (or willingness to obtain)
• Preference will be given to applicants who meet the Canadian Summer Jobs Grant

Criteria

ROLE: LICENSED SUMMER CLUB PROGRAMMER

Wage: Starting from $20.60 per hour
Benefits: Paid sick days, 6% vacation pay (includes scheduled operational closures), 5%

Hours: Monday – Friday, Full-time
June 24, 2024 – August 30, 2024
Location: YMCA locations across Fort St. John

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE:

• Plan and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate activities and field trips

for our Licensed Summer Club programs

• Interact directly with the children, providing quality care and creative programming
• Ensure all safety and supervision standards are implemented and maintained according

to licensing and YMCA requirements
