Excellent opportunity to join a World Class EPCM company as a Life Safety Systems Designer on their Advanced Facilities, Electronics team.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate for this role is a skilled Life Safety Systems Engineer who thrives on tackling projects critical to our clients’ operations. This individual will have a genuine passion for their work, evident in their dedication to designing Life Safety and Security Systems for advanced facilities. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Sciences and expertise in NFPA standards and electrical design requirements, they’ll be well-equipped to lead the delivery of complex packages alongside our clients team of engineers and design leads. From semiconductor manufacturing to data center facilities, the candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of cutting-edge projects, showcasing their ability to deliver world-class designs for our client.
Experience / Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Sciences.
Knowledge and application of NFPA 70 (NEC) and electrical design requirements.
Knowledge and application of NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, and NFPA 400 Hazardous Materials Code.
Familiarity with IBC and NFPA 1 Fire Code as they pertain to Life Safety Systems (LSS).
Design experience with security, access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV.
Design experience with Fire Alarming, VESDA systems, HPM, and Leak Detection.
Experience leading a team of LSS design staff.
Knowledge of design and construction specifications.
Experience estimating and scheduling mid to large scale projects
