Job Description

  • As a member of Miltenyi Biotec’ s Global Technical Support team, you will provide expert level technical support for our product portfolio, deliver product training and support products throughout their lifecycle.
  • You will provide technical support to global colleagues (sales, support and service), distributors and VIP customers. This includes answering enquiries, providing application support, investigating and resolving technical issues.
  • You will carefully document your support activities and also collect, analyze and communicate data required for product performance analysis.
  • You will liaise with other departments to resolve complaints. Manage and maintain our product knowledge database. Occasionally provide on-site support for customer demonstrations, equipment installations or troubleshooting.
  • Finally, you will create, manage and deliver product training, both in-house and in the field worldwide.
  • You will support products by working with Marketing, R&D and Production at all stages of the product lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have an academic degree in science, engineering or a comparable scientific education. A PhD is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in imaging and microscopy is essential. Experience in cell biology, immunology, hematology, neurology or stem cells is a benefit.
  • As a strong communicator in English, you will discuss technical issues and convince stakeholders through written and oral presentations. Another foreign language (e.g. French/Italian/Spanish) is beneficial.
  • You will have strong customer service skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • This is an office-based role but will require regular international travel.
