Description:

The role

The Asset Optimisation Team which is responsible for the strategic activities performed by the Warship Asset Management Agreement (WAMA) Alliance to maintain and optimise the Anzac Class Systems and its support system. For designated Combat Systems, the Lifecycle Engineer is expected to:

  • Be the focal point for specific designated systems;
  • Analyse Asset Performance and make recommendations;
  • Contribute to the long term system optimisation;
  • Operate in a team environment, under limited supervision, within relevant procedures and work instructions

Flexible work arrangements such as 9 day fortnight will be considered for this role.
About you

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Engineering qualification or experience in the required field
  • Broad technical/engineering background
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated data analysis and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to baseline level or have the ability to gain one.
