We are currently seeking a part-time/freelance Lifestyle Merchandiser with profound knowledge of music lifestyle products and trends. This role requires a flexible time commitment, ranging from a few hours each week to several days each quarter, specifically designed to enhance our retail strategies, focusing on our Swee Lee operations. It is an ideal position for experts who wish to influence product offerings while maintaining flexible work schedules.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Deep understanding of music lifestyle products such as clothing, apparel and other accessories.
  • Strong ability to forecast trends and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to different stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in a consultancy or advisory role, preferably within the lifestyle or music retail sectors.
  • Practical experience in retail buying or merchandising is highly regarded but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise on the selection and curation of music lifestyle products, ensuring our collections resonate with current trends and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with category managers to refine our apparel product lines, balancing innovative design with commercial viability.
  • Provide insights on market trends in lifestyle, influencing the strategic planning of product additions and adjustments.
  • Evaluate consumer feedback and sales data to recommend product offerings and inventory level adjustments.
  • Participate in periodic review meetings with various teams to discuss trends, product performance, and future strategies.
