Description:
FUNCTION:
To support Kinosoo Operations Coordinator with the effective and efficient maintenance of the fixed grip chair lifts located at Kinosoo Ridge Resort to maximize the guest and employee experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive experience in the current CSA Z98 Code and a working knowledge of OH & S regulations is required.
- Lift Courses 151, 152, and 153 or five-plus years of experience.
- Knowledge of PLC electrical systems and components.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics and low voltage control.
- Building maintenance, carpentry and electrical knowledge/experience is an asset.
- Ability to operate snow mobiles, ATVs and 4 x 4 trucks in a safe and responsible manner.
- Strong management and organization skills.
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, mature, dependable, and able to work well with others in a team environment.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Physical fit for the job: able to work outside in all weather conditions, at heights and in confined spaces, lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:
- Subject matter expert with lifts, carpets, and aerial park maintenance and general outdoor operations.
- Assist in snowmaking and grooming.
- Actively involved in preventive and required maintenance for lifts and lift maintenance to ensure safe uninterrupted operation.
- Maintenance of grounds and building.
- Machinery and equipment installation, preventative maintenance, service, repair and overhaul, (weekly/monthly/annual) on all mechanical systems such as vehicles, buildings, water and septic.
- Installing and adjusting machinery and equipment, rigging, levelling and aligning, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
- Adhere to assembly, maintenance, and installation as per manufacturer manuals and specifications.
- Maintain records of work completed as per related codes, legislation, and M.D. Policy.
- Familiarity with conveyor systems, industrial and stationary engines, pumps, belts, chains, gears, clutches, coupling, cable rope, and compressors are all assets.
- Operate M.D. equipment safely, efficiently, and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Report all lift maintenance related activities as required.
- Ensure work area(s) are kept safe and clean, report any damage, malfunction, or misuse of any company equipment and/or property.
- Assist other departments with general maintenance needs, where required.
- Assist in emergencies.
- Assist with lift and ariel park opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with the training of lift operators and aerial park staff, where required.
- Perform other related duties within the scope of the position.
