The company has two producing assets: Golden Grove in Western Australia and Capricorn Copper in Queensland and a strategic tenement package and project in Redhill, Chile.
Our Golden Grove mine is located just a short 1-hour flight from Perth or Geraldton. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and experienced team, providing operational skills to the production of zinc, lead and copper concentrates in a safe, cost effective and environmentally friendly manner. This is a permanent position, offered on a 2:2 roster, with a convenient 1- hour commute to Golden Grove mine site from Perth or Geraldton.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Light Vehicle Maintainer to join our Maintenance Team at Golden Grove. In this role you will be required to repair and maintain the site light vehicle fleet, fire water diesel pumps, backup power generation engines, registered plant such as EWP’s and ancillary equipment such as skid steers, buses, light trucks in a safe and reliable condition to manufacturer’s specifications. This role will be offered on 14 days on 14 days off roster FIFO from Perth. We offer a competitive remuneration with a quarterly bonus and site allowance.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Education, Qualifications, Tickets, Licenses:

• Automotive mechanical trade certificate;
• Certificate II air conditioning installation and repair;
• Refrigerant handling license;
• C class drivers license;
• HRW forklift and EWP license;
• Minimum post trade 3 year of practical experience;
• Maintain and repair automotive drivelines;
• Transmission overhaul and repair;
• Engine repair and maintenance;
• Cummins, Perkins, Detroit and Honda stationary engines;
• Electric over hydraulic systems;
• Forklift and cranes;
• Earthmoving equipment;
• Hino trucks and coaches;
• Generators and lighting towers

The successful candidate will be offered a remuneration package commensurate with their experience and the current market. On offer is a challenging and rewarding role in a team environment. Candidates will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria including a Drug and Alcohol screening and will need to be able to provide a valid National Police Clearance.
