LIGHT VEHICLE TECHNICIAN - COVENTRY

My client is currently seeking a skilled Light Vehicle Technician to join their Coventry dealership. Under the supervision of the Aftersales Manager, this position offers a competitive salary ranging from £28,000 with £40,000 OTE on a 40-hour contract, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday mornings.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE OF OUR :

Candidates for this role should possess a relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3) at a minimum. We are looking for individuals with the following attributes and skills to be a successful Light Vehicle Technician:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience in inspecting, repairing, and servicing motor vehicles.
  • MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Previous experience in a franchised dealership is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Deliver technical and diagnostic services to ensure customer satisfaction and meet/exceed productivity targets.
  • Maintain the highest level of technical knowledge and comply with manufacturer training requirements.
  • Uphold company and manufacturer quality standards.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with vehicle health check processes.
