WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum three years work experinece at a mid to large company
Prior experience with budget management
Familiarity with Ariba or Fieldglass product portals (a plus) or willingness to learn in order to successfully manage this position.

Responsibilities:

  • The budget manager will be responsible for managing and tracking the department budget across seven teams within the Customer and Digital Experiences organization.
  • The budget manager will review the planned budget spend compared to actuals (invoices) and follow-up with the respective buyer and supplier to understand the discrepancy.
  • The budget manager will be responsible for adjusting the forecast based upon the planned budget and actuals spent. In addition to reforecasting the budget as the year progresses.
  • The budget manager will support all individuals within the Customer and Digital Experiences organization by submitting Statements of Work and requests for Contingent workers through the Ariba or Fieldglass product portals. In addition to submitting and following-up on the progress of the submissions or provide support for next steps such as revisions to a SOW.
  • The budget manager will meet monthly with Finance, Controlling and individuals across the Customer and Digital Experiences team to adjust individual the team budget or discrete line items of that budget as changes occur throughout the year.
