Line cooks needed in Oregon wine country. $23.00 per hour guaranteed minimum rate with tips included. The Dundee Bistro is seeking a strong line cook to round out our kitchen for this fast-paced, iconic, full-service restaurant. Fine dining experience is a plus, but not required. Above average tip pool for all BOH employees. Reliable transportation is a must. Our ideal candidate would want to learn and grow with the company as we scale up operations. If you are team oriented, motivated, and engaged, advancement opportunities are available with our dynamic team. Health care contribution available after 90 days with the company and other great benefits. Base Hourly rate: $18.00/hr, and $5 guaranteed/hr in tips.
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
*Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies *Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation. *Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff *Clean up station and take care of leftover food *Stock inventory *Willing to work and cross train on all stations from pizza to grill to sauté in our open kitchen.
Qualifications
*Cooking experience or Back of the House experience preferred *Able to meet all scheduling commitments *Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs *Strong attention to detail *May be required to lift up to 50lbs *Must be able to work on your feet in a fast paced environment for sometimes long hours
