Description:
The award winning 5-star Muckross Park Hotel & Spa in the stunning National Park is now recruiting for an Accommodation Porter to join the team. The main duties of the role:
- Stock store-rooms for accommodation assistants with linen, towels, toiletries, toilet rolls, etc.
- Collect all full linen bags, and keep hallways clear throughout the day
- Put in any extra beds/cots required into arrival rooms, and remove them on departure
- Hoover and deep clean the stairs & hallways
- Rooms cleaning
- All other duties as required by the Accommodation Manager / Supervisor
- Supplying linen and guest supplies to the Accommodation Assistant
- Carrying out regular stock-take of linen and guest supplies
- Ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of public areas and the linen room
- Providing excellent customer service to guests at all times according to the agreed standards.
- To have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all standards of performance and delivery within the accommodation department
- Participate in Departmental training
- To work as part of the Accommodation Team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working as an Accommodation Assistant and Accommodation Porter
- Fluent English, ability to converse with our guests is essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Ability to work in a busy environment
