We are looking for a Linux system administrator to join our team, proficient in general systems administration, particularly in managing high-traffic, in-house web applications within a LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) environment. Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintenance of production infrastructure (configuration management, troubleshooting, software updates, improvements)
  • Monitoring of all our systems such as Nagios and diverse email/SMS notifications
  • Database and web server administration, preferably MySQL and Apache/Nginx
  • Analysis of our system including security, performance, and capacity
  • Site Reliability Management
  • Participation in rotational on-call duty
  • Expertise in KVM/libvirt based Linux virtualization
  • Familiarity with build and provisioning tools like Terraform and Ansible
  • Create and upkeep relevant documentation
  • Experience in information security, data privacy, programming (Python), and networking would be beneficial
  • You appreciate understanding processes and collaborating within a team, while also valuing service and maintaining a customer-focused approach
  • Collaborate closely with development and internal Office IT teams to ensure smooth integration and operational efficiency of applications and services for our customers
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields
  • 5 years of relevant work experience aligned with the job description
  • Strong ability to work independently and with a structured approach
  • Proficiency in English
