Description:

We’re looking for a Lead Data Quality Analyst to join our team in London as part of our Data and Insight function.
Your Role: You take ownership of our data and maintain high levels of data integrity to ensure business decisions are made using accurate data. You will work closely with the Commercial, Awards, Content, Advisory teams to unlock the commercial potential of the rich data held by Lions.
You will be the guardian of our data integrity. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the completeness, accuracy and consistency of our data is maintained to enable effective decision making to drive business value

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Quality Ownership – Own the data quality processes to ensure the highest level of data integrity is maintained across business critical data
  • Data Quality Assessment and Monitoring – Build capabilities to analyse business data to identify and assess data quality issues in relation to completeness, accuracy and consistency.
  • Data Cleaning – Implement strategies and techniques to clean data that falls below our agreed threshold.
  • Data Quality Standards – Implement data quality standards to ensure data accuracy is maintained. Understand the data flows to identify issues in the process, to be resolved
  • Reporting & Documentation – Be transparent by creating Data Quality reports to be shared with stakeholders, showing the outcomes from the Data Quality assessment and monitoring.
  • Collaboration – Partnering with all the relevant teams to ensure data integrity is on everyone’s agenda.

Your Experience

  • Attention to detail to ensure the data quality is maintained to the highest standards
  • Experience in SQL, BigQuery and Looker
  • Ability to analyse trends in data and perform root cause analysis to understand where the data is being corrupted
  • Excellent communication skills, able to simply communicate complex analysis
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities and work calmly and with accuracy under pressureExperience of working with large datasets
