YOUR ROLE
The Listing and Rostering Coordinator ensures the Local Court and judicial resources are effectively utilised to maximise available court time.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As part of the Chief Magistrate’s Office, and under the direction of the Chief Magistrate/Deputy Chief Magistrates, you will prepare and publish the state-wide sitting roster for magistrates of the Local Court.
Develop and maintain working relationships with State and Commonwealth governments, and other stakeholders including the legal profession and members of the Judiciary.
Prepare reports, correspondence and statistical information on the sittings of the Local Court, monitor trends and analyse changes in court listing and the impact of new legislation and changes to available resources.
You will also control associated diaries and ensure that the office’s statutory, reporting, financial and administrative obligations are met.
