Description:

One our favorite law firm clients is seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join their growing team! The chosen Litigation Paratary candidate will be part of a dynamic team, providing support to our attorneys across a range of litigation tasks. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of our case management system and will require a high level of proficiency in various software applications.
This firm has multiple locations and offers a friendly and collaborative work environment! We have placed paralegals and attorneys with this firm who love it here!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive civil litigation support to our team of attorneys
  • Prepare for trials by organizing binders, witness lists, and exhibits
  • Regularly review and summarize medical records for use in cases
  • Conduct legal research to provide informed advice to the legal team
  • Compile deposition summaries to aid in case preparation
  • Use software applications such as Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, and LexisNexis to manage and streamline case-related tasks
  • Employ Microsoft Excel for billing functions and calendar management
  • Assist in the management of the firm’s case management system
  • Provide support to the team in all aspects of litigation paralegal duties.

  • Proven experience as a Paralegal with a minimum of 3 years in the field
  • Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat for document management
  • Familiarity with Case Management Software for effective case handling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Experience with Billing Functions within a legal firm or department
  • Ability to manage calendars and schedule appointments in a fast-paced environment
  • Expertise in Litigation Paralegal duties and responsibilities
  • Familiarity with Management Systems for efficient workflow coordination
  • Strong ethical standards to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Paralegal certification is required
  • Strong research skills and the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
