Description:

Our client is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join their dynamic team in Singapore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and grow existing accounts within the commodities vertical, with a focus on delivering sustainable growth through effective data licensing, cross-selling, and up-selling. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team that values ongoing learning and coaching.

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the organic growth of existing accounts. Your primary focus will be on employing consultative sales techniques to manage renewals and generate new opportunities. Your commitment to personal development and continuous learning will be key in this role as you strive to improve your knowledge of products and client markets. Collaboration across internal functions will be crucial in providing maximum value to our customers.

  • Employ consultative sales techniques to manage renewals, generate new opportunities and drive growth
  • Effectively manage book of business to deliver sustainable growth over the long-term
  • Create and execute account plans to grow high potential customers within book of business
  • Fully utilise Salesforce for effective pipeline management, forecasting, activity logging and performance metric tracking
  • Take ownership of personal development to constantly learn, develop and contribute to the wider team’s development
  • Continually seek to improve knowledge of products and client markets
  • Collaborate across functions internally to provide the utmost value to the customer

The ideal candidate for the Strategic Account Manager position is highly motivated, driven, and passionate about being part of a fast-paced, successful team. You bring substantial experience in managing complex sales processes and have a proven track record in sustainably growing a large book of business whilst managing complex relationships within a large size account. Your ability to deliver accurate forecasting and pipeline management is second-to-none, backed by your strong use of CRM systems. Experience in professional services sales or equivalent SaaS experience would be advantageous.

  • Experience in managing and sustainably growing a 1 million+ euros book of business
  • Experience in managing complex sales and understanding customer value
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate forecasting and pipeline management
  • Strong track-record of using CRM and data to improve sales performance
  • Some data selling experience (or equivalent SaaS experience) would be beneficial
