A great opportunity to join a Commodities Trading House as an LME Sales Associate in the Metals Team based in Singapore
We are seeking a dedicated Sales Associate with a background within LME / metals industry to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and acting as a crucial link between clients and our internal teams as well as Market Making and Trading.
Responsbilities include:
To market make/trade in both non-ferrous and precious metals while conforming to our
in-house position limits.
Offering market insights by providing daily metal market news and updates for our
valued client base.
Market the full suite of our services to both existing and potential clients.
Ensuring that client orders in base/precious and ferrous are placed, processed, and
recapped in an accurate and timely manner.
To work overnight orders on behalf of London traders both in LME Select and TT (when
applicable for Comex / arb orders)
Initiate new client agreement documentation using approved company account opening
package.
To complete commercial reviews for existing clients.
To entertain the Company’s existing and potential clients and other relevant contacts.
To visit and document client meeting through visit reports and notes with the Company’s
existing and potential clients and other relevant contacts, both overseas and in Singapore.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars, both domestically and internationally.
To understand and operate any electronic trading and in house systems that the Company may use from time to time.
As and when required to staff the order desk.
As and when required to perform any other ad hoc company duties.
Be fully compliant with all FCA, LME, MAS, NFA and AML Regulations.
