Position Overview
Dutch Bros University (DBU) serves as a critical player in the Learning and Development of our people and Field Operations System. We’re charged with ensuring our people are equipped with the functional and emotional skills needed to make a massive difference every day at HQ, the window, and their communities!
As a LMS and e-Learning Administrator is responsible for managing the organization’s LMS platform, collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, overseeing vendor relationships, and ensuring the delivery of effective solutions. This role involves deep technical expertise in LMS platforms, project management skills, and will keep the software and everyone interacting with it functioning in a smooth and user-friendly way.

Maintain a fully functional Learning Management System (LMS) and deliver exceptional customer service to its diverse user base, while fostering collaboration between Dutch Bros and the LMS provider:

  • Oversee the enrollment process for learners, instructors, and administrators as required.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and system analytics to support decision-making for DBHQ and Field teams.
  • Provide assistance to the IT department in managing critical tech suite integrations.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively in partnership with IT and other cross functional teams.
  • Conduct training sessions for Dutch Bros staff to ensure proficient system usage and assist in course creation, maintenance, and registrations.
  • Collaborate with IT to address current system needs and anticipate future requirements, ensuring scalability and adaptability.
  • Work closely with LMS representatives and DBHQ teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the system’s capabilities and limitations.
  • Explore and implement add-ons, plugins, and adaptations to meet the specific needs of learners, ensuring effective content management within the LMS.

Responsible for developing and managing long-term course planning and registration strategies in collaboration with Senior Managers and Dutch Bros Leadership, your role is crucial in ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maximizing the effectiveness of learning initiatives:

  • Develop and maintain an annual training calendar in coordination with departments, ensuring updates and organization of training resources and materials are accurate, and ensure compliance.
  • Implement yearly, quarterly, and monthly curriculum launches based on the strategic plan outlined by the Learning & Development team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Remain flexible and adaptable to meet important and urgent needs as they arise, adjusting plans and priorities accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with the Field Training and Learning & Development teams to maintain all course content and promptly resolve any errors in system functionality.
  • Organize course content based on current trends and industry best practices, working closely with instructional designers, coordinators, and specialists to identify intentional connections and themes between different pieces of content.
  • Regularly review and update long-term course planning and registration strategies in consultation with Senior Managers and Dutch Bros Leadership, ensuring they remain relevant and effective in meeting the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to gain buy-in and support for course planning and registration strategies, fostering a collaborative and cohesive approach to learning and development within the organization.

Job Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree and 4 years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of experience
  • Proven experience in LMS administration, project management, and user support.
  • Technical proficiency in various LMS platforms, integration methods, and learning technology standards.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to generate insights from LMS data.
  • Adaptability, continuous learning orientation, attention to detail, and customer focus are essential.
  • Experience with Project Management
  • Experience with remote based Customer Service
  • Experience working with an LMS system or other student information systems
  • Experience working with information technologies and or analytics
  • Staying current on industry trends through reading, listening to, and watching educational content.
  • Other activities as approved that improve your ability to perform.

Location Requirement:

  • This position is located in Phoenix, AZ and is required to be in office 4 days a week

Skills

  • LMS: Possess comprehensive knowledge of LMS platforms, including their out-of-the-box features and customization capabilities.
  • Project Management: Proficient in managing large cross-functional projects from inception to completion, utilizing project management tools and documentation.
  • Technical Documentation: Capable of drafting technical specifications and gaining alignment from engineers, administrators, and business stakeholders.
  • Agile/Scrum: Thoroughly acquainted with Agile/Scrum processes, enabling efficient project management and collaboration.
  • Stakeholder Management: Skilled in managing project delivery timelines, LMS roadmap, and establishing clear expectations for all stakeholders involved.

  • Must be able to communicate in an effective manner to perform job duties
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculators, copy machines, computers, and office equipment.
