Overview
First Citizens Bank Equipment Finance provides leasing and equipment financing solutions to thousands of small businesses, across various industries, nationwide. We provide financing solutions to our borrowers and lessees, and assist our vendor partnerships in growing sales, profitability, and customer loyalty by providing customized, value-added finance solutions to their client base. Transactions can range from $3,000 to $5M.
This position provides support to sales by handling customer applications and funding with approved syndication funding partners. Interacts with partners to ensure application, documentation and information is accurate and complete. Ensures partners are meeting SLA’s and provides sales with information to ensure timely communication regarding application and funding.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED and 1 years of experience in Administrative, operations or customer service

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional conceptual thinking and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex problems that include interrelationships and dependencies.
  • Proficient in web-based CRM; Salesforce.com
  • 2 years working in the loan syndications field.
  • 2 years equivalent commercial credit analysis/relationship management experience
  • Working knowledge of banking loan policies and procedures, credit analysis, accounting
  • Working knowledge of loan syndication processes
  • Strong Excel and Word experience

Responsibilities:

  • Work in partnership with the Credit group and Senior Sales team members to review new lead opportunities to determine key syndication source.
  • Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful and timely closings of Syndicated lease transactions. This shall include, but not be limited to, handling deal setup, collecting all necessary administrative details from syndicate member banks, and ensuring details of each subject transaction are communicated effectively between involved parties.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with syndication partners and provide proactive updates throughout the origination process.
  • Act as an ongoing liaison between the syndication source, operations, and the Business for all post-closing items as necessary
  • Responsible for ensuring complex loan transactions are complete and accurate and are in keeping with the terms and conditions approved by the syndication partner.
  • Ensures syndication activity reporting is accurate and in adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Monitors and adjusts the daily workflow to ensure that operational commitments are met.
  • Anticipates and identifies areas for improvement and recommends solutions.
