Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of an enthusiastic Local Counter Fraud Officer.
The post holder will be employed by Swansea Bay University Health Board and will be based at Neath Port Talbot Hospital. Swansea Bay University Health Board is contracted by Powys Teaching Health Board and Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board for provision and supply of counter fraud services under a service level agreement. The post holder will work across these 3 Health Boards with some travel required across these sites when necessary.
The post holder will form part of the team responsible for the implementation and operation of all counter-fraud bribery and corruption (economic crime) systems and processes across the organisation, with the aim of safeguarding all Health Board assets from loss. This will include the post holder supporting both proactive fraud detection and reactive investigative work, as well as supporting the development and implementation of an anti-fraud culture across the organisation.
As part of the Counter Fraud Team, the post holder will work with relevant key contacts both internal and external to the Health Board, to provide an integrated approach to creating a professional and comprehensive counter fraud service and anti-fraud culture and will participate in the detection and assist with investigation of potential fraud issues as they arise.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
