NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WEAKO | SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You are an experienced professional with experience in local, regional and/or national planning processes. You bring public sector experience with you and would feel confident communicating complex information to senior management, the Board and Ministers.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, maintaining, and influencing relationships and partnerships across sectors and organisations including with Māori and Pacific Peoples and groups and at a senior level
- Demonstrated ability to think conceptually and anticipate the impact of decisions on long-term outcomes, including financial outcomes, and to develop/recommend responses in consultation with key stakeholders
- Experience navigating and operating within the machinery of government or in a regulated environment
- Experience and strong analytical skills allowing for them to carry out effective needs analysis of the population across the region they work in
- Experience and knowledge of the machinery of Government
- Demonstrated ability to think conceptually and anticipate the impact of decisions on long-term outcomes, including financial outcomes, and develop/recommend responses in consultation with key stakeholders
- The ability to compellingly communicate complex information and ideas in both oral and written communication to a range of audiences including senior management, Board and Ministers.
- Ability to work in complex environments and with a wide range of diverse stakeholders that are internal and external to Te Whatu Ora
