Clinical Responsibilities The successful candidate will play an important part in day-to-day management of obstetric and gynaecological patients and will join on call rota for Gynaecology and Labour Ward. The post holder will run General Gynaecology outpatient clinics and outpatient hysteroscopy with specialist clinics based on clinical skills and experience. Key Tasks Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of Obstetrics & Gynaecology patients at all times. To share with colleagues responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Obstetrics & Gynaecology patients requiring admission, investigations, or surgery.
To undertake duties within the agreed job plan. To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and audit. To support with teaching and training of junior medical staff. To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing professional development (CPD).
To participate in on-call rota ensure specialist advice is provided in a timely manne
