Job Description
We are seeking two locum consultant colleagues for a period of 12 months, from July 2024, with the potential for future substantive appointment in our expanding department. You will be part of a team of 13 consultants (including these posts) and a large team of experienced specialist nurses. We provide comprehensive urological care to our local population of 650,000 people and specialist urology services, including complex stones and cancer, to a wider population including the Isle of Wight. Candidates with sub-specialty interests are encouraged to apply, as we can support development in all areas of urology, including endourology, stones, laparoscopy and robotics. There is a commitment to a 1:9 general urology on call, with our team of nine middle grades providing 24 hour cover, and a 24 hour interventional radiology service.

Qualifications
Qualifications – FRCS(Urol) or equivalent
Clinical Experience – broad experience in urology
Professional Body Memberships – registered with the GMC with a licence to practice
