QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Able to work in Kulim Hi-Tech Industry (Kedah)
• 3-5 Year (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Critical thinking and complex problem solving
• Must be well verse in import and export procedure and custom practices
• Detail oriented and foundational understanding of import and export processes.
• Able to build rapport and negotiate with Vendors and Customers.
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
• Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent.

• Prepare an accurate monthly and yearly report for submission to the LMW Customs Officer in a timely manner.
• Perform compliance audit on permits and forms associated with the LMW regulations
• Manage internal and external parties to ensure smooth execution of shipments (Import, Export and Local).
• Liaise and negotiate with forwarder, suppliers and customers.
• Meet cost, productivity, and accuracy and timeliness targets
• Overseeing incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and conditions of shipments.
• Work closely with Government related agencies to ensure the company comply with all rules and regulation and product registration policy.
• Plan and monitor shipment to ensure shipping deadlines are met, advice / feedback to customers, planners, purchasers or relevant departments on delivery schedule.
• Make proper planning and arrangement for all the import and export shipments and ensure timely clearance for all the shipments.
• Responsible for proper filing and documentation system in order to comply with Audit requirements.
