  • Being part of CDC Ghent organization and working through networks with the engineering community worldwide
  • Investigate and propose (software and hardware) tools & techniques to improve process execution.
  • Supporting warehouses in building a multi-year roadmap based on the As-Is state to close the gap with the To-Be state.
  • Process mapping & process descriptions for the global To-Be state.
  • Documenting warehouse principles and concepts in the VOC (Volvo Operational Concept).
  • Benchmarking inside and outside Volvo Group looking for possible process improvements and share within the network and build business cases as required.
  • Coaching of local Logistics Engineers to work according to Lead DC and VOC best practices.
  • Leading or participating in (Kaizen) workshops and Continuous Improvement initiatives among engineering networks.
  • Driving the network to implement and adhere to lean principles and best practices.
  • Participate in IT workshops to translate business needs in system solutions. Being part of CDC Ghent organization and working through networks with the engineering community worldwide
