The Position
Logistic Service Specialist
Job Summary
Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
- Optimise the delivery lead-time, transport costs and the Quality service focusing on customer satisfaction.
- Confirm availability of goods to the customers, discussing availability and collection data with the Production plant responsible.
- Manage relationships with carriers and forwarders, confirming dates, checking invoices, claims and export documents.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Confirm sales orders to customers after planning discussion.
- Assure suppliers booking transport through TMS (Transwide), issue Delivery Notes and all related documents.
- Manage the customers urgent deliveries.
- Manage customer complaints in case root cause analysis impacts Supply Chain.
- Keep a closer relation with Customer Service to permit customers to receive all information related to the goods status.
- Send the purchase orders to suppliers, follow up these orders confirmations and also ETAs requested vs ETAs confirmed.
- Control suppliers deliveries conformity, costs generated by non-conformities (quality, delay) and that these costs are re-invoiced.
- Anticipate the delivery delay from suppliers and manage emergencies
- Forward all necessary documents to the logistics service providers
- Send input documents to the accounting department for invoices reconciliation
- Manage supplier complaints
- Ensure delivery and stock data reliability in software.
- Provide loaders short term and midterm information of daily collections.
- Follow up and monitor Supply Chain KPIs related with the function.
