Join our team in Cluj as a Logistics Analyst and play a key role in coordinating daily import/transport activities, being the main point of contact with customs authorities and customs brokers and maintaining and continuously developing relationships with them.

Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Acts as an internal reference for any issues related to import activities and as a reference person for employees with questions regarding import and intra-community delivery activities;
- Monitors, coordinates, verifies, and optimizes all transport orders for which you are responsible; sets priorities based on delivery deadlines of orders/contracts; informs interested parties about the status of ongoing deliveries;
- Works closely with procurement specialists and customer relationship managers;
- Ensures that all transactions are properly recorded in the transaction log;
- Efficiently resolves any problems that may arise regarding customs documents;
- Keeps up-to-date on all types of documents involved in import operations, international rules on the transportation of goods, delivery conditions, and Romanian/international customs legislation and coordinates the logistics activities necessary for air, road, or sea;
- Supervises the implementation of all Emerson regulations, local policies, and US and EU resolutions in import processes and is responsible for maintaining documents in accordance with Emerson’s document archiving policy;
- Gets involved in resolving crisis situations that may affect the company and is constantly concerned with improving the work done and is responsible for meeting estimated/negotiated delivery deadlines;
- Performs any task given by the direct supervisor or management related to the responsibilities of the position and/or compliance with current legislation.
FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
- Secondary or higher education;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word/Excel/Power Point) and general computer use;
- Good communication skills in English;
- Analytical thinking and good organizational skills.
