Logistics Analyst

We are in search of a diligent Logistics Analyst to be part of our team in Enfield, Connecticut. This role centers around the efficient and effective management of logistics operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with analyzing and improving our logistics procedures, ensuring the smooth running of all logistic processes. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

• Analyze and optimize logistical procedures
• Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions to streamline operations
• Utilize IBM AS/400 and other management systems to manage logistics processes
• Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics using Microsoft Excel
• Implement About Time to manage project timelines effectively
• Handle all accounting functions relevant to the logistics department
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns related to logistics processes
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to logistics activities
• Use logistics skills to improve efficiency and productivity
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Must have a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain procedures
• Proficient in using ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions
• Experience with IBM AS/400 and other related management systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential
• Familiarity with ‘About Time’ software
• Knowledge of basic accounting functions
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to create and manage documentation
• Previous experience in a logistics role is preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Must be comfortable with making decisions and taking initiative
• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
