RESPONSIBILITY:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Consultant to join our team. As a Logistics Consultant, you will play a key role in implementing our software solutions for our clients. You will work closely with clients, project teams, and vendors to analyse business requirements, design tailored solutions, and oversee the implementation process to ensure successful deployment and adoption.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and operational workflows
• Conduct detailed assessments of clients’ existing operations, processes, and systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system requirements documents.
• Develop process maps, flowcharts, and diagrams to visually represent processes, highlighting inputs, outputs, and decision points.
• Develop comprehensive implementation plans, including timeline, resource allocation, and budget estimation, in collaboration with clients and project teams.
• Lead the configuration, customization, and integration of our solutions to align with clients’ specific business needs and operational requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the implementation process, including data migration, testing, training, and change management activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including IT teams, third-party vendors, and end-users, to ensure seamless integration and alignment with overall project objectives.
• Supporting customers in basic and, if necessary, specific configurations.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and provide training to client personnel on functionality, processes, and best practices to support successful adoption and utilization.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and assessments to evaluate project outcomes, identify lessons learned, and capture opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Handling of the change requests/new implementation of the existing client; follow the project cycle (process review, coordinating development, testing and deployment).
• Processing of support requests (configurations, problem situation, support hotline, if necessary, etc.).
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior logistics consultants, assisting them in developing their skills, knowledge, and confidence in the field.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, information technology, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
• Proven experience in implementing solutions for logistics and distribution operations, preferably in a consulting or project management role.
• You have a high motivation to shape, you enjoy analyzing and improving processes as well as implementing them in our EPG software suite.
• Work experience in LFS is added advantage.
• SQL/DB2 database knowledge is desirable.
