In this fast-paced role, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and finished goods within our manufacturing operations. You’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including coordinating transportation, managing inventory, and ensuring on-time deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate and manage all aspects of the internal and external supply chain, ensuring timely movement of raw materials, components, and finished products.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, implement effective stock control procedures, and minimize storage costs.
- Transportation Management: Organize and manage the transportation of goods, including scheduling deliveries, selecting carriers, and negotiating rates.
- Customs Clearance (if applicable): Oversee the customs clearance process for imported and exported goods, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Warehouse Operations Support: Assist with warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods.
- Production Support: Provide logistical support to production processes, ensuring timely availability of materials and components.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date logistics documentation, and prepare reports on inventory levels, delivery schedules, and other key metrics.
- Quality Assurance: Contribute to quality assurance efforts by ensuring proper handling and storage of materials and products.
