Description:

A well-established company, based in Dublin15, is seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join the team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the import and export of consignments, coordinating with Irish sub-contractors and international agents, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 1 year of demonstrated background in logistics or shipping operations.
  • Proven track record of at least 2 years in customer service, particularly over the telephone.
  • Strong interpersonal aptitude, coupled with adept problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks and computer operations, with a keen eye for accuracy.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Self-motivated individual with a positive outlook and unwavering dedication

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage the import and export processes of consignments.
  • Collaborate closely with local subcontractors and international agents to ensure smooth operations.
  • Organize and schedule on-site and remote surveys in coordination with clients and subcontractors.
  • Facilitate effective communication between site crews, drivers, and clients to deliver comprehensive service.
  • Handle inbound inquiries via telephone and email promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain seamless day-to-day operations, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Actively pursue new leads to expand our client base.
  • Provide regular progress updates to management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
