Minco has an outstanding opportunity for you to join our logistics team as a full-time coordinator. In this role, you will assist with shipping and receiving materials. You’ll have the opportunity to support Minco’s operational needs and troubleshoot logistics problems. You’ll work closely with other logistics coordinators and what you do will have an important impact on the company and our customers. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare documentation and forms for work requirements in areas of assignment to load, unload, pull, pick, deliver, or transport materials and product.
  • Review, verify, and enter incoming and outgoing orders, materials, and transportation with proper documentation.
  • Ensure work requirements are completed accurately.
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies and receive assistance on complex problems.
  • Assist with responding to daily questions and concerns from warehousing, inventory, production and customer service.
  • Investigate inventory problems and work with logistics team to determine a solution.
  • Perform a variety of shipping, receiving, and material duties, such as pull, pick, and stage items, move, transport, and deliver materials, pack and ship product.
  • Ensure compliance with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment and efficient operations; may require the employee to wear safety equipment or gear; the individual may also handle, and label hazardous materials and waste based on area of assignment.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment and may perform various janitorial or housekeeping tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Six months of logistics experience in a manufacturing environment
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware and software which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the definition of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong math skills
  • Communicate effectively across the organization in both written and verbal formats.
  • PC skills: Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and other applicable applications, preferred.
  • Understanding of documents and forms related to the shipping process.
  • Understanding of practices related to cycle counting, opening and closing orders, returned materials, and related processes.
  • Operating within an enterprise resource planning (ERP) environment
  • Experience in a warehouse, shipping, or receiving role.

This position is a regular full-time position located in our headquarters in Fridley, Minnesota
