Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to join our Centre Operations team as a Logistics Coordinator. This is a permanent position based out of our Welwyn Garden City Development Centre.
You’ll play an integral part of the logistics function within Centre Operations. Duties include stores, and processing orders or products. The successful applicant will oversee the processing of incoming and outgoing stock, picking orders from the warehouse stock, and managing them.

Responsibilities:
- Picking Activities: Process the pick requests from the Materials Manager (pick to deliver to an agreed workstation). Process the order through Odoo once the pick is complete.
- Inventory Activities: Putaway parts into the Randex (including labeling and scanning parts into stock within Odoo and the Randex). Re-allocation of surplus project equipment into the surplus stock to be redistributed to other projects.
- Randex Activities: Creating/deleting storage locations and re-organising inventory within the Randex to maximise storage capacity. Inventory reconciliation between Randex and Odoo. Stock Counting. Periodic stock takes and cycle counting activities.
- Visual quality check on mechanical parts delivery (this could mean checking that the items have the right amount of holes, studs, inserts, cut-outs, and finish i.e. paint or plating etc).
- Quantity check, opening all packaging to physically check the correct quantity has been delivered.
- Reporting any inconsistencies to the Materials Manager
- Visual check electrical component delivery.
- Intercompany materials/stock transfers and chargebacks.
- Customer Management Activities: Respond to all customer queries promptly through Ocado’s engagement tools
- Reporting: Produce the agreed month-end reporting, capturing key performance and workload metrics (Value of goods recycled, scrapped, issued, per month, etc).
- Stock Counting: Warehouse Stock Takes (Warehouse space and Randex)
