ROLE PROFILE:

The purpose of this role is to contribute to the planning and execution of delivery, collection and general transport support to the repair operation and to all associated 4th Dimension Group Businesses. In particular you are to ensure that motorcycles are being transported in the safest and most efficient way. In addition you will be taking part in additional projects as requested by the Logistics Team Leader and the Head of Operations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitoring the current Logistics’ Operation both in the Office Planning and ‘on the road’.
• Activate and plan contingencies as necessary.
• Making and receiving in excess of 50 calls a day.
• Organization and issue of routes for drivers through our in-house systems.
• Ensuring policy holders are advised of excess and additional sales payments and that these are collected.
• Monitoring of driver conduct with the Driver Team Leader.
• Supporting the Driver Team Leader to ensure that company vehicles are cleaned and maintained on a regular basis.
• Liaising with other businesses in 4th Dimension Group, in particular Farnham Honda, Ride Nation and Surrey Motorcycle Salvage to ensure that their transportation needs are met.
• Identifying initiatives to improve efficiency, quality and most importantly safety.
