Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

As a Warehouse Engineer in our Business Process Excellence team, you will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our warehouse operations at Cranbourne. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems and processes to streamline our warehouse functions, improve inventory management, and optimise storage space utilisation.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

  • Design and implement warehouse layout and storage solutions to maximise space utilisation and operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement efficient material handling processes, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping
  • Evaluate and support the selection appropriate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet racks, and automated systems, to meet operational needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
  • Conduct regular audits and performance assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Research and stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in warehouse management and logistics.
