In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible general work experience with one (1) year of that experience equivalent to the NH-01 or GS-04 grade level, which includes 1) Drafting logistics support documents to aide in the development of System Acquisition strategies (2) utilizing aspects of the integrated logistics support process to promote an effective property management system and (3) developing life cycle logistics support initiatives to lower overall life cycle systems cost;
OR
Successfully completed a full four (4) year course of study leading to a Bachelor’s Degree. (NOTE: You MUST attach a copy of your transcripts.);
OR
The general experience as described in A, but less than three (3) years; and I have some education as described in B, but less than the required four (4) years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100%. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 36. Then, divide your semester hours of education by 120. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100% to qualify.). (NOTE: You MUST attach a copy of your transcripts.);
OR
The experience as described in A AND the education described in B. (NOTE: You MUST attach a copy of your transcripts.)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive product support strategy for the materiel throughout the system life cycle.
  • Help in establishing the goals of the organization by planning, directing, and controlling the allocation and utilization of all authorized resources.
  • Provides support assisting in the management and interface with logistics element managers, contract support services, training facilities, Integrated Logistics Support Management organizations and other service users.
  • Assists in the coordination with representatives of other components and organizations concerning precedent setting, controversial, sensitive and/or complex issues and their impact or potential impact on military requirements.
