Responsibilities:
- Provides guidance on the overall management of supply chain program, policies and procedures governing supply accountability.
- Monitors, evaluates, and analyzes supply purchasing strategies and methods to ensure that established best business practices are maximized.
- Determines the necessary resources needed to accomplish mission requirements and makes recommendations for the purchase of equipment and standby items, additional funding, etc., to meet current and projected requirements.
- Participates in and/or leads cross-functional meetings to resolve supply chain issues and drive process improvements in supply chain functional areas.
- Establishes, maintains and improves upon the readiness partnership with the AFSBn, LRC and Department of Defense (DOD) contractors and serviced customers.
- Reviews overall operations to determine operational problems and to determine and implement changes necessary to meet long-range objectives.
- Performs multi-functional logistics planning, manning, resources and budget formulation and administration to support reporting requirements of the Brigade to HQ ASC.
