Description:
Estrategia Humana, a leading recruitment agency specializing in talent selection for organizations, is seeking a highly organized and skilled Logistics Manager to join. As a Logistics Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all logistics activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement. - Implement and manage import/export processes, including supplier selection and negotiation, and shipment planning and execution.
- Direct, optimize, and coordinate the entire cycle from factory collection to delivery at client distribution centers.
- Serve as the liaison and negotiate with suppliers (Customs Brokers, forwarders, and manufacturers) for China, USA, and Latin America.
- Supervise quality tracking, quantity, delivery times, transportation costs, and efficiency.
- Ensure clear communication and constant updates for each work order with internal departments, forwarders, and Customs Brokers.
- Establish metrics and analyze data to evaluate performance and implement improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of all import/export documentation, including invoices, claims, refunds, bills of lading, packing lists, and other shipping documents.
- Ensure compliance with specific regulations and laws of each country.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of logistics principles and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in using logistics software and tools
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
