We are looking for a Logistics Planner (Permanent role) to join our team in Stamullen, County Meath.
Main purpose of job:
You will assist in support of the Logistics Function across all Warehouses to ensure timely Scheduled delivery, Dispatch and Utilisation of the Logistics footprint and collaborating with the KAMS team with all Logistics Queries.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage timely and orderly delivery schedules for the business.
  • Plan and manage all Dispatch outbound orders.
  • Support Key Acccount Managers with Logistics queries.
  • Be key point of Contact for all KAM queries.
  • Co-ordination of couriers needed daily between PCI Warehouses.
  • Schedule booking in any deliveries that need to be booked in.
  • Dealing with any queries in relation to goods out/deliveries.
  • Attending warehouse/operations meetings.
  • Monitoring utilisaiton of space across all sites and taking appropriate actions to meet Utilisation goals.
  • Ensure equipment breakdown and repairs are minimised and reported.
  • Completes and submits all accident/injury reports to the warehouse manager.
  • Decision-making and problem-solving in the absence of direction.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the transport and logistics function.
  • Studying or Completed Business / Supply Chain Diploma/Degree.
  • Attention to detail - essential.
  • Competent in the use of IT systems to include Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Good knowledge of Warehouse Management.
