Luminal Endoscopy Clinical Fellow

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the University Hospital of North Midlands to join the team of Gastroenterologists working on both our Royal Stoke and County sites. We are looking for an individual to train and develop within our endoscopy servi ce. In return the individual will be rewarded with dedicated research and admin sessions to support their development.
The successful candidate will complement the expertise already available within the specialty , improving their independence in diagnostic endoscopy. Endoscopy training in a broad variety of therapeutic skills is offered and supported by a dedicated team of Gastroenterologists. Successful candidates will be expected to rotate across both County and Royal Stok e sites. There will also be ample opportunities for research and quality improvement developments, the current post-holder has had abstracts accepted both nationally and internationally . We have close links with Keele University giving opportunities for both teaching and research. We also have a very active post graduate teaching program in the Trust , providing potential for further involvement at that level. Start date is negotiable with the successful candidate.
University Hospitals of North Midlands has two sites: Royal Stoke University Hospital, located in Stoke-on-Trent, and County Hospital, located in Stafford. You will join an enthusiastic team of 1 5 Medical Gastroenterologists. The unit is a JAG approved endoscopy training centre, and has an excellent national and international reputation in endoscopy training. The GI department has a major interest in therapeutic endoscopy, including upper and lower GI EMR and ESD , Inflammatory Bowel Disease surveillance , capsule endoscopy, double balloon enteroscopy and more
