Description:

EDUCATION

Master and PhD in Chemistry, Molecular Biology or Bio-Engineering.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Proven professional experience (6 years after PhD minimum) in R&T
  • Organic Synthesis, Biomolecules, Biosensing, Electrochemical methods for surface functionalization
  • Physicochemical surface characterisation (SEM, AFM, XPS, TOF-SIMS), Molecular characterisation (mass spectrometry, NMR)
  • Microfluidics, electrochemical characterisation, Fluorescence and microscopy
  • Publications in high impact scientific journals with a relevant role
  • Patents and contribution to patents
  • Developed critical thinking and engagement in open-minded scientific discussions
  • Skills to coordinate research teams
  • Entrepreneurial character and collaborations with the private sector

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Excellent skills in English: speaking, reading, and writing scientific text. French and German are considered an asset.
