about the company
A specialised M&E construction company with a proven financial track record in the past 10 years. They specialise in industrial projects. Currently looking for a M&E Quantity Surveyor to be based in Selangor HQ.

about the job

• Prepare bill of quantities, taking-off, and cost estimates for M&E Services and prepare for tender submission/quotation.
• Prepare variation order cost and finalise project accounts together with the Project Department.
• Prepare claims and obtain approvals from Clients or Consultants.
• Liaise with Clients, Consultants, and authorities on all aspects of M&E tender.
• Prepare M&E project budgetary and comparison in terms of tender and sub-contract works.
• Prepare M&E subcontractors and suppliers & work package tender.
• Prepare monthly progress claims and payment recommendations to the Management.
• Compile all the costing files and summaries to Post-Contract Negotiation / Awarding Committee for final negotiations once the projects is secured.

about the manager/team
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Contract Manager and working together with a team of M&E Quantity Surveyors.

skills and experience required

• Degree in Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Engineer/ Quantity Surveying.
• Experience in M&E is a must.
• 1 years and above experience in the relevant field.
• Able to work under effectively under pressure and manage timelines accordingly.
